Covers the following units of competency

RIIWHS205E - Control traffic with stop-slow bat
RIIWHS206 - Control traffic with portable traffic control devices and temporary traffic signs

TMI1 RIIS00060 - Traffic Management Implementer Skill Set for Urban Streets and Low Volume Rural Roads
Covers the following units of competency
RIICOM201E - Communicate in the workplace
RIIRIS301E - Apply risk management processes
RIIWHS302E - Implement traffic management plans
RIIWHS303 - Position, set up and program portable traffic control devices

Course Dates - Theory 3 days

Combo Course - 3 days [3 days theory + 20 hours practical placement prior to final assessment]

Cost: $000pp (must be aged 17 years & over to enrol) or $450pp to apply for RPL for both TC-TMI

Time: 8:30am - 3:30pm daily

Day 1 - Traffic Management Implementer (ITCP) Theory

Day 2 - Traffic Controller (TC) Theory

Day 3 - Assessment for both TMI & TC (must be booked separately)

  • Hi-vis long sleeve shirt (if you have one - we can supply hi-vis vest if you don't have one)

  • TMT can provide hard hats

  • Enclosed shoes (steel cap work boots preferred)

  • Hat

  • Raincoat

  • Pen

  • Your own lunch & drinking water

  • Please remember to dress in a manner that is respectful and appropriate for training
